Marcel Lal | CEO Asia Pacific

Raised in Sydney where I enjoyed most of my education and working career, I now live in Brisbane with my wife and our daughter. We value our family time, along with opportunities to travel and experience different cultures when possible. I’ve always enjoyed playing and watching many sports but tennis remains one of my passions, having previously been a qualified coach whilst still playing competitively today as time permits.

My qualifications in business, initially in Economics, Finance & Marketing, extended to include Sales, Management and Leadership through my career. I am also CFE qualified as a Certified Franchise Executive and MAICD as a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Continued learning and development is something that I consider a key aspect of our working life and an important area of focus in our InXpress business.

My role as CEO Asia Pacific and member of the InXpress Executive Leadership Team & Global Board directs my focus towards strategic planning and leading our teams across six countries in this region. I am driven to implement key initiatives and continuous improvement in our business so we can ultimately achieve our growth aspirations and financial targets for all stakeholders. Prior to my current role, I was the Country Manager for InXpress Australia & New Zealand and I also have 12 years franchising experience within my multi-industry career spanning over 25 years.

I am extremely passionate about the InXpress business and proud to be a part of a sustainable B2B model and a resilient, tech-enabled franchise system within the growing freight industry, which affords great opportunities to franchisees and staff, all of whom are at the core of our business values.

Michelle Price | Country Manager Australia & New Zealand

I grew up in Brisbane where I completed my years of schooling and commenced my career in the freight & logistics industry full-time. I have been in this industry for over 30 in various roles including General Manger for NSW & QLD, National Strategic Solutions Manager, Operational Management, Sales Management, Customer Service Management as well as the Branding Ambassador for the APAC Region. My past 24+ years have been with one organisation in this industry and during this time I was fortunate enough to be well recognised for achievements throughout my caree. I completed my European Senior Logistics Degree in Supply Chain as well as various Leadership Management Trainings and Sales Mentoring Programmes.

My family and I moved to Sydney in 2014 to run the Sydney Branch which incorporated freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing and contract logistics, and spent over 8 years in the Sydney market, before deciding it was time to return home to Brisbane in March, 2022.

My time in the logistics industry has taught me valuable skills and what success and partnerships truly look, and as the Country Manager for InXpress my key focus is around development within an organisation at all levels including strategic, tactical, operational, and transactional layers from both a planning and implementation perspective. I am client focused and continuously look to promote a positive working culture, possess excellent communication and people management skills whilst being proactive and self-driven. My goal is to build long term sustainable relationships whilst empowering growth and change to achieve a positive culture, and exceptional operational and financial outcomes. Strong partnerships with our carriers are critical for our operations to run smooth and cost effectively, and I will work with all stakeholders within the business to ensure a positive outcome.

I am extremely passionate about InXpress and very proud to be a part of this tech-enabled organisation in such a growing industry which provides unique solutions within the freight industry both domestically and internationally for our franchisees and their customer. I look forward to working with the network to ensure continued growth and development.

I made the move from Auckland, New Zealand. Before I finished high school, I knew I wanted to moved to Australia, so I finally made the move in May 2021 and am now living in sunny Brisbane.

I completed certificates in Small Business Management and Money Management. In 2022 I will begin studying Project Management, with this career path in mind for the future.

I slipped into the freight industry starting off in Customer Service at DHL Express, I quickly moved on to become the Personal Assistant for the Director of Operations NZ. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with being a PA/EA and the freight industry. I worked with DHL Express for 4 years before moving to AU. Since then, I have worked in other renowned freight companies that have expanded my knowledge and experience even more.

With the years of Executive Assistant experience I have, I am looking forward to supporting the Executive Team and the wider InXpress community with day to day tasks and the exciting Projects we have coming up.

I was born and raised in a small Queensland town called Toowoomba, where I completed my 12 years of Schooling. After school I made the move to Brisbane to complete further studies in Business & Finance, whilst working full time for the Australian Federal Government.

Fast forwarding 6 years, I re-located to peruse a career in the Financial Services sector in Australia’s top financial hub of Sydney. My time in Sydney learning and working alongside some of Australia’s industry leaders taught me some valuable skills, what it means to be successful, the importance of attention to detail and how great results come from hard work. At the end of 2020 I made the decision to return home to Brisbane to be closer to my partner and family.

As the Franchise Administrator for InXpress Asia Pacific, I support and manage a range of Compliance & Governance structures across the region to ensure accuracy and adherence to all local Government and code of conduct requirements. I also support the franchisees in the execution of their agreements, sales, transfers and other legal & compliance procedures.

I have 5 years’ experience in the Shipping and Freight Industry. Three of those years I worked for one of the world’s largest Shipping Lines in a commercially based, analytical role supporting the wider Oceania Team, gaining invaluable knowledge and skills. More recently I worked for a Freight Forwarder as the Account Manager for a Fortune 500 company, who had a focus on compliance and process improvement.  

I recently moved from Sydney to Brisbane with my partner seeking the warmer weather. You’d usually find me spending time with family or friends; Or camping somewhere with no phone reception, a book and coffee (or wine) in hand.

In my current role I work with Bridget Achilles as the Franchise Administrator for Asia Pacific, supporting InXpress with Franchisee compliance and data quality.

I grew up in the North West Victorian town of Mildura where I completed my tertiary and post grad education and commenced my finance career in Logistics.  My husband and I moved to Brisbane in 2009 after a long-term desire to live close to the beach and have great weather for most of the year.  I have two young children with the eldest in early years of primary school.

I have a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and am a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). I have over 15 years Finance & Financial Management in Shipping & Logistics Land (Road and Rail), Sea, Air & Warehousing, specialising in Ships Agency, Freight Forwarding, Mergers and Acquisitions

As a member of the APAC Leadership team, I support the Regional CEO, Country Managers, Finance Managers and their teams with finance administration, best practices, new initiatives and training and development.

Since growing up in Canberra, I have been fortunate to live all over Australia & NZ which has provided me with an appreciation of doing business across a variety of landscapes and enjoying the best that both countries have to offer. I have lived in Brisbane for the last 10 years where I met my beautiful fiancée and we are proud parents of two. If I have a spare couple of hours you will likely find me on the golf course.  

I have spent close to two decades with an ASX listed company in a variety of roles, including general management, store and multi-unit operations, state and country level operations, franchise recruitment, property and sales. I grew up in this brand, starting in store and growing through the corporate departments. I thrive in fast paced, dynamic, digital and strategic environments, with great people and a strong team-focus. I can bring high energy, passion for performance and a love for serving people to this role. 

Over my career, I have strived to help businesses and individuals to ensure smooth and long lasting relationships. I am a problem-solver, a relationship-builder, a fixer and strive to bring the best out in people and across teams. I actively try not to be the corporate guy in the in the room, rather, the genuine person that will get it done (and fast) and genuinely add value to both sides.

As the Franchise Development Manager for the Australia and New Zealand countries I look forward to developing the existing Franchisee portfolio and expand the Inxpress network and increase the brands value.

Having spent most of my life living by the water, I now reside in a small town, North-West of Brisbane with my partner and two boys.

I am currently studying a Diploma of Graphic Design but when I do have a spare minute, you'll catch me outdoors - at the beach, camping or catching up with friends over a coffee.

Previously, I have worked in admin for a Digital Marketing Agency and have spent my time with InXpress in a number of roles including Franchise Support Officer and Franchise Development Coordinator. 

In my current role as Marketing Coordinator, I offer assistance in all things marketing inlcuding social media, new franchise setups, updating franchise webpages and using my graphic design skills to create content for both screen and print.

Adrian Bromley | Business Coaching & Training Manager

I am a proud Queenslander and a 7th generation Australian descendant of Dr Edward Bromley, a naval surgeon who dates his arrival in Australia back to 1805. Married with four boys, I currently have an extra three daughter-in-laws, and five grandchildren to add to the family group. 

I have had a progressive career in business and corporate enterprises in a range of industries, both Commercial and NFP. In addition to my current InXpress positions, my previous work history has predominantly been in General Management, Sales Management, Sales, Coaching, Training, Franchising and Operations in a range of industries. I have sat on two boards and also owned several businesses, including being a Franchisee and Master Franchisor in Telecommunications.  

I have always loved cars and personally restored my 1961 Holden EK station wagon, which I still use as a daily driver. In addition to my family, my other interests include boating/ fishing and riding my Yamaha cruiser motorbike.

Born in New Zealand and grown in Sydney, I’ve worked as a Business Coach with ActionCOACH and the Young Entrepreneur Society for over 6 years, assisting small businesses and franchisees with growing revenue through lead generation, customer loyalty and repeat business. I’ve worked with brands such as AMF Bowling, Blockbuster, Civic Video, Domino’s, Fitness First, La Porchetta Restaurants, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Subway and Wonderland Sydney.
 
Skills I offer you are in business to business sales and online marketing. These skills have been developed from industries such as fitness, mortgage, print advertising, online marketing and advertising services, business coaching and leadership.

A special highlight was being privileged to be an Australian Ambassador for the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit 2012 and present the communique to President Felipe Calderon of Mexico.

In my spare time, I enjoy coaching basketball where I run my own academy and spending time with my family.

Having spent most of my life living in coastal regions, I now reside in North Brisbane with my husband and son.

I come with a wealth of experience in planning, facilitating and assessing adult based training. In addition, I have extensive experience in support and administration. The industries I have worked in consist of transport, manufacturing, retail and training.

I have a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and I am a Microsoft Office Specialist.

In my current role, I will be working closely with the Business Coaches to ensure we offer the very best coaching and training experiences for our franchisees. I will also assist with competency development for both franchisees and the InXpress Head Office team.

Felix Lu | Finance Manager

I was born and raised in China, where I finished a Bachelor of Medicine and worked in a hospital for nearly 2 years. I came to Australia in 2015 and completed a Master of Commerce (Majoring Accounting & Finance) in the University of Queensland. Afterwards, I completed my qualification of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) while working.

I have a variety of experience in ASX listed companies and a Top 8 Chartered Accounting Firm. With a vast range of knowledge and skills I obtained from different industries, I’m looking to continuously improve and enhance my professional skills upon.

Outside of working, I like movies, travelling, hiking, swimming, indoor rock climbing, boxing, Tough Mudder, walking along the beach or a concert with friends.

I enjoy exploring different opportunities and possibilities of life and challenging myself. I have the great opportunity to join InXpress, where I utilise my knowledge and abilities to support our Finance team.

I was born in Sri Lanka and completed my first degree there. I moved to Perth in 2016 for my higher studies and worked there a few years in a local government. My wife was then offered a position in Queensland Health in 2021, hence both of us moved to Queensland. Though we are new to Queensland, we love travelling and have already visited a few parts of the state. 

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I worked for a leading multinational company for a few years in Sri Lanka. My first experience in the sales and marketing field in a FMCG company strengthened my skills and knowledge in the industry. While I was reading for my Master of Commerce, I decided to change my career to finance. Therefore, I moved to Australia and completed my Master of Professional Accounting at Murdoch University Perth. Currently, I am an associate member of CPA and looking forward to completing my CPA programme. 

I joined the InXpress finance team, and am working closely with the accounts payable team leader to assist with supplier payments being paid in a timely manner and assist with franchisees accounting queries. I am enjoying working at InXpress and I am so glad to be a part of this great team for their success.

I was born in s’Hertogenbosch, Netherlands but relocated to Australia with my family very soon after, first landing in Victoria and then settling in Queensland. Interesting fact! I have 4 middle names Adriana, Wilhelmina, Petronella, Florentina, Maria.

I have over 23 years of experience in various accounts roles, having previously worked as a Credit Controller, Accounts Receivable and now as Accounts Officer.

In my current role, I support the franchise network in helping their customers with managing payments.

I grew up in North India where I finished my Diploma in Information Technology and worked in Teaching and Management for 8 years. In 2006, I moved to Rockhampton (QLD) with my husband to peruse my Masters in Information Technology. 

I have lived in Adelaide, where my daughter was born and then moved to both Perth and Sydney before returning to QLD in 2014 after realising this is the state we love most. My son was born in 2015 and while raising my two young children I worked various jobs as an After School Care Assistant, Holiday Coordinator, and Accountant Assistant.

Now I return to the workforce fulltime as a Collections Officer and want to pursue learning and using my skills wherever I can. I love the environment and working way of InXpress and I look forward to being a part of a friendly team.

I was born in Angola, where I left at the age of 4. I have over 20 years’ experience in credit control/collections and have worked in a major Swiss freight forwarding company, Pharmaceutical & banks in Europe & Africa.

I enjoy bike riding, and ride a bicycle every day, for commuting & sport.
In my role as Collections Officer, I support the franchise network regarding payments.

I was born in Sydney and grew up on the North NSW coast, before moving up to North Brisbane at age 12 where I would complete my schooling.

I have had the luxury of working for a variety of businesses since graduating in 2014 such as Newscorp, Apple, Suncorp, as well as working with marketing agencies where I spent some time as Marketing Coordinator. During this time, I have managed to obtain a vast range of experience and education throughout different industries that I'm looking to constantly build and improve upon. Outside of working, I enjoy film making whenever I get an opportunity, as well as writing... Sometimes both go hand in hand.

I have been given the exciting opportunity to join InXpress after spending just under a year at DHL, where I will be supporting the franchise network in helping their customers with managing payments.

I made the move to Brisbane last year on Christmas Eve which was as I believe "my Christmas Gift" to be able to reunite with my husband after 3 years of being apart from each other.

Born, raised, and educated in South Africa, I moved to Australia in 2000 with my Australian husband initially settling in his hometown of Sydney then moving to Brisbane in 2001.

I have a strong logistics background with 30 years in the industry in both South Africa and Australia, 21 of them with the same company in Brisbane. I have completed my European Senior Logistics Degree in Supply Chain as well as various leadership training throughout this time. My experience covers Customer Service, Operations and Branch management roles and I have a strong focus on building relationships at all levels through quality Customer Service and operational excellence.

I enjoy working in a team environment with motivated and enthusiastic colleagues.

I have a passion for family and travel and enjoy cooking and reading in my spare time.

Originally from Sydney, I moved to Brisbane in 2012.
I currently live with my husband, our two daughters and two fur babies. I have completed my cert 4 in Business Administration and have completed a few franchising courses since being with InXpress.
I have been with InXpress since May 2017 where I started in the Accounts team doing collections, since then I have held multiple roles within the company, as a Support Officer, Team Leader and currently the Project Support Officer.

My current role as the Project Support Officer is to ensure all of InXpress’ projects run smoothly and efficiently, this includes working on upgrades to the system, and integrating new carriers.

Born and raised in Brisbane’s North, I have played soccer most of my life. I have a Cert II & III in Information Technology and have completed a vast range of training courses while working with InXpress where I have sat in multiple roles as Personal Assistant, Credits Officer and now Franchise Support.

My husband and I purchased our first home 3 years ago and welcomed a long awaited, beautiful baby girl in April 2019 and then the missing piece to our family, a handsome baby boy in June 2021. I am very much looking forward to being able to travel again soon and create lots of memories as a family.

In my current role as Franchise Support Officer, I assist the network by helping with any queries or questions you may have, and assistance you may require for your franchise.

I am from the small country town Warwick, known for its trading and rodeos, this is where my sister and I were raised. From there, I have moved many times for work opportunities and moved to Brisbane in early 2022. In my spare time I like to walk my greyhound Inglebert, lots of cooking and preserving, manage my gardens for all my fresh produce, play guitar and drums, learn new languages (programming and spoken), and plenty of studying as all STEAM subjects interest me greatly.

I have worked in customer service positions since the age of 13 and am extremely experienced when it comes to assisting and supporting all customers that I interact with. Followed with my IT degree, where I Majored in Data Analysis and Applied Computer Science, with 3 Minors in Information Systems Development, Information Technology Management and Networking and Security. These all assist to make sure I can offer knowledgeable IT support to all, as well as aid the process of making our software and platforms a better environment for all our customers and franchisees.

My prior experience with working for the University of Southern Queensland has given me plenty of experience for working through many customer queries daily, and increased my proficiency for conquering all tickets that I can with the assistance of my programming knowledge for fast replies, updates, and requests.
